I too would like to hear a few more details about your encounter, Steve.
Shawn - How far was the creature and what time of day did it occur? I haven't heard anything new on Sasquatch other than what I heard on 550 am (coast to coast). They were having a wild card night so that listeners could call up with random stories and this one individual had a bigfoot story. He was driving ( I didn't hear where) and one crossed the road in front of him about 4 feet from the bumper. He claims that he remembers seeing the body and thats all. He also claimed that he knew that he saw the face but it was erased from his memory by the creature. Then it was discussed that some people believe that bigfoot has supernatural powers such as to erase you mind of the encounter. I personally don't believe that bigfoot is supernatural but I thought someone might find that account interesting. That is about all I have at the moment. So I guess that means good night to all. Keeps your eyes open in the field and be safe.

Some hotels don't conforms the descriptions, that is why real reviews of people who stayed there are very useful.

The house is still there. I have visited it a number of times. The house looks much different than it did in 1974. They took out the 1/4 moon windows and have changed the address from 112 to 108 Ocean Avenue to help full the onlookers!

Hey Steve,

I would love to hear your story... Was your decision or reaction based on fear or a cognitive thought process? Was it a surprise encounter or one in which developed? I for one can’t say I had an experience; however, I did witness ‘something’ I can’t explain and to this day suspect it was a Bigfoot. It happened so fast on a hunting trip, that there was no time for reaction. As soon as I noticed ‘it’, ‘it’ noticed me and stood up and walked into a swamp. The distance was too great for me to notice any details, except a dark silhouette. Looking forward to hearing your story.

"My fascination with bigfoot is a good laugh to my friends, family, and co-workers but I gladly tell them with they ask of my views and opinion on the matter no matter what their motives." "I also don’t need no lesson from you on firearms."

BC - lets try to polish up on some of your grammar, first... Above is just an example of some of your post, which reflect some serious 'English and grammar' deficiencies!!! As for making it personal, your previous tone in the above mentioned is insulting and dilutes the significancy of the subject matter. So with frustration, any reader can and will 'call you out', on any subject matter when such ignorance is expressed in both content and presentation...

Now, let's move on from the personal criticisms, the world of 'Academia' would/will attempt to acknowledge, or entertain the idea of the mere existence of G. blacki, if and only if a clear, concise video was to be forwarded... I for one, can and will speak on my behalf, would take the shot if presented... However, if given the opportunity to choose between the rifle and camera, I would ultimately choose the camera.

BC, I applause your convitions and stand as 'one' with you in 'our' community of G.blacki. You are very fortunate to have experienced something so unique, and should charish the moment, for you are truely blessed. In closing, and moving forward, lets you and I abandon the personal 'digs' and enjoy the interaction. Good night, my friend!

Long in the tooth - I used that last statement as an example. My faith and beliefs have no bearing on my belief in the existance of bigfoot. What I mean is that I believe that a lot of things exist but I don't have to kill one to prove it. I was stating how I felt on the matter. Not to argue but to put another view out there. I belief your statement that someone will eventually catch or kill one. One day that be inevitable but I do feel sorry for the one you does it. Whoever does it one should expect the worst results though. I have read one report where a bigfoot was blamed for demise of a trapper. I would personally have a face to face showndown with a grizzly than a bigfoot. Alt least I would know a bit more about the bear. Thanks for your reply.
Shawn - Who are you to call me out? My fascination with bigfoot is a good laugh to my friends, family, and co-workers but I gladly tell them with they ask of my views and opinion on the matter no matter what their motives. I know the ridicule. It seems the only place you advocate is on this site. Let's see why I don't throw out more personal information on the internet. Oh yeah it's the internet and you cannot trust people with information. I also don't need no lesson from you on firearms. I know the capabilities, limitations, and dangers of firearms. I know even the smallest calibers can do damage. I was addressing the limitations of a shooter. No one knows what exactly would go through one's mind if a bigfoot shows up. Most of the time the the reaction is to take flight at the appearance of the unusual. You are entitled to your opinion. I fight for you and others to have that very right. Back to killing one to prove their existence. If you believe that then that's your right, but it's my right to belief that is wrong. Jus because that's the way scjentists have done it that way for other species doesn't mean they should. I agree with Alex, though. I hope humans don't find them. It does leave some mystery in the world. I have to close here. I bear no one no ill will and hope you enjoy the conversation. Have a good day or night all.

Thats a great story...but kinda depressing. Sure you can play like a god, but sooner or later you'll be dragged off to Hell. I don't think its a fair trade.
